Annual General Meeting (AGM)

Wexford Pride’s annual general meeting (AGM) is held in November of every year. All community members are encouraged to attend.

The usual agenda includes (in no particular order):

  • PowerPoint presentation by the standing committee on the state of the organisation

  • Overview and detailed look at the finances

  • Call for added supports where needed

  • Review of the previous year’s accomplishments and lessons

  • Plans for the upcoming year

  • Election of new committee (see the constitution for an outline of each roll)

Qualifications for nomination

  • Majority age

  • Must have requested your name be considered before the deadline set forth when the AGM is officially announced

  • Must understand the expectations of desired roll and be able to fulfil the roll

Community feedback and Q&A

The AGM sets the tone for the following year and is integral to the operation of the organisation. Only with community involvement is Wexford Pride able to function. Please keep an eye on our news page for the announcement of the 2024 AGM. We would love to see you there!
