LGBTQIA+ Peer Support Group (In-person)

Wexford Pride is proud to host a fortnightly LGBTQIA+ Peer Support Group from 19:00 to 21:00 at the IFA Centre in Enniscorthy. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Wexford Pride’s LGBTQIA+ Peer Support Group is a confidential therapeutic space for community members to seek and provide peer support.

If you need additional support or are nervous about attending, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Inclusivity and accessibility:

This is a safe, non-judgmental space for all LGBTQIA+ people. Past groups have created a contact which is agreed upon at the beginning of each meeting and additions can be made at any time. This contract allows for very clear boundaries and guidelines for engaging and contributes to creating an accountable, safe space for sharing. We have zero tolerance for racism and bigotry and openly welcome BIPOC, Traveller & Roma, and immigrant groups.

This is also a neuro-affirming space. We encourage attendees to take movement breaks, stim, and bring stimming aids as needed. We also use small lamps to light the room and no overhead fluorescents.

This venue is not wheelchair accessible.

Staying updated:

You can stay updated by signing up for the Wexford Pride Monthly Newsletter at the very bottom of this page.

Photos of the space:

Below are images of the space to help guide and provide awareness before attending. Please note that the lighting was for photo purposes, we use small, low wattage, warm light lamps to light the room.
