Queer Chorus

Join the Wexford Pride Queer Chorus held weekly each Tuesday evening from 7PM - 9PM at The Collective Sensory Group, St Johns Rd, Wexford, Y35K684. All singing levels welcome!

No prior sign-up is required, but if you need additional support or are nervous about attending, please don't hesitate to contact us at wexfordpride@gmail.com.

Queer Chorus also has a subgroup in the Wexford Pride Community WhatsApp where we plan, share tips and all things singing.

Queer chorus leader :

Andrei is a Wexford based singer/songwriter with 26 years of musical experience. His first introduction to music was when he took up piano and joined his school choir at age 9. Since then he has recorded music with Chris de Burgh and became a featured artist for Sydney based record label Signacion Music, writing and recording with The Voice star Luke Antony and rapper TRIX. Andrei’s work took him back home to Wexford where he is recording new music for his upcoming EP and working with Wexford Pride’s Queer Chorus. His community means the world to him and is ecstatic to be a part of such a wonderful group of local singers and is excited for what the future holds for the group.

Inclusivity and accessibility:

This is a safe, non-judgmental space for all LGBTQIA+ people. We have zero tolerance for racism and bigotry and openly welcome BIPOC, Traveller & Roma, and immigrant groups.

This is also a neuro-affirming space. We encourage attendees to take movement breaks, stim, and bring stimming aids as needed.

Access 2000 is wheelchair accessible. Armless chairs are available.
