Retreat 2025
October 10-12
Mucklagh Lodge
Wicklow, Y14 RY62
Join Wexford Pride this October for our very first in-community retreat, nestled in the heart of the Wicklow mountains.
Over the course of two nights, this retreat offers an opportunity to unplug from the hustle and bustle of daily life and reconnect with yourself and your community in a supportive, inclusive environment. Delicious home-cooked meals will nourish your body, with vegetarian and vegan options available, ensuring everyone is catered for.
Taking place in the stunning Mucklagh Lodge retreat centre, you will be tucked away between mountains and woodlands. Because of the rural location, there is no internet or phone reception on-site. But don’t worry, you won’t be bored! The weekend will be packed with a wide range of activities, from movement sessions and life drawing classes, to zine making workshops and our Saturday night talent show (plus much more).
Need some alone time? We’ve got you covered. Whether you're strolling through the woods, dipping your toes in the stream or simply sitting and soaking in the mountain views, the natural surroundings will provide you with plenty of space to reflect, breathe and decompress.
Accommodation is in shared rooms with a range of single beds and bunk beds available. There is one fully wheelchair accessible bedroom and the communal areas of the centre are also wheelchair friendly.
As a voluntary organisation, we are committed to making this retreat as accessible as possible. We're not making a profit on this retreat and are supplementing the costs to keep ticket prices affordable. The full weekend is just €50.
For those who would like to sponsor someone else’s ticket, we offer a Pay-It-Forward ticket for €50, allowing you to support someone else in need. You can also donate any amount to help us fund this and future Wexford Pride events.
If money is a barrier to attending, please don't hesitate to reach out to us at info@wexfordpride.ie for a subsidised ticket, which are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
