Wexford Pride’s New Logo
Wexford Pride is excited to announce the launch of our new logo! While our previous logo paid homage to our Wexford skyline, for our new logo we wanted to capture how Wexford Pride has expanded to encompass a wonderfully diverse, inspiring and connected LGBTQIA+ community that recognises, embraces and celebrates difference. Regardless of where you are at with your journey, your background, identity or expression there is always a place for you here.
We want to express our sincerest thanks to Willow River who generously lent her talent, insights and creativity in working with us to to bring this to life!
“The logo design is centred around the reclaimed queer symbol of the pink triangle. It is flexible and can adapt and change to meet the needs of the community, whether it be for different flags, passions, hobbies, political statements or solidarity with other groups. The design can be stretched, pushed, pulled, drawn, painted, abstracted and transformed. Members of Wexford Pride are welcome to respectfully create their own versions of the logo with their preferred mediums and meanings.” - Willow
