Aro Ace Peer Support Group (Online)

How to attend:

Wexford Pride is proud to host a monthly Online Ace/Aro Peer Support Group from 19:00 to 21:00 via Zoom. The meeting is open to anyone identifying as asexual and/or aromantic across Ireland and is not restricted to those living in Co. Wexford.

Wexford Pride’s Online Ace/Aro Peer Support Group is a confidential therapeutic space for community members to seek and provide peer support.

No prior sign-up is required, but if you need additional support or are nervous about attending, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Meeting link:

Anyone interested in attending please email wexfordpride@gmail.com.

The Zoom link will be sent via email between 18:00 and 18:30 on the day of the meeting. We ask that the link not be shared with anyone else as all attendees must request the link directly.

Inclusivity and accessibility:

This is a safe, non-judgmental space for all LGBTQIA+ people. Past groups have created a contact which is agreed upon at the beginning of each meeting and additions can be made at any time. This contract allows for very clear boundaries and guidelines for engaging and contributes to creating an accountable, safe space for sharing.

We have zero tolerance for racism and bigotry and openly welcome BIPOC, Traveller & Roma, and immigrant groups.

This is also a neuro-affirming space. We encourage attendees to take movement breaks, stim, and bring stimming aids as needed.

The online format has the benefit of accommodating participants with travel or mobility restrictions.

Staying updated:

You can add this single event with the Google Calendar link beneath the address above or download the "Internet Calendaring and Scheduling" (ICS) file to add it to your default device calendar. We also have all of our events on the Wexford Pride Google Calendar and you can choose to import them all.
