How to attend and what to bring:
Join us for our fortnightly Tea on the Quay event! Tea on the Quay is a daytime social event held at the Crown Bar in Wexford town. In excellent weather we meet on the Wexford Quay beside the Pantry kiosk. Announcements of venue changes are made in the Wexford Pride WhatsApp Community as well as online. Come out and have a cuppa with friends old and new!
No prior sign-up is required, but if you need additional support or are nervous about attending, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Inclusivity and accessibility:
This is a safe, non-judgmental space for all LGBTQIA+ people. We have zero tolerance for racism and bigotry and openly welcome BIPOC, Traveller & Roma, and immigrant groups.
This is also a neuro-affirming space. We encourage attendees to take movement breaks, stim, and bring stimming aids as needed.
Both the Crown Bar and the quay are wheelchair accessible. The Crown Bar has chairs with arms as well as bench seating. The quay has metal park benches with arms and a concrete bench without a back for seating.
